This was our first family trip to London and what a great find! This is a great little terrace house extension close to Arsenal Tube and only a short walk to Finsbury Park which has both Tube and Overland train connections. The place was exactly as described and photographed with a compact but intelligent design of space. The accommodation was brand new and as such it was impeccably clean and in perfect order. The room arrangement was great for us as we have two children so the twin room with two single beds and a separate double means that the grown ups can watch TV and enjoy relaxing in the evening while the kids are going to sleep. Not something you can do in a family hotel room! The hosts were welcoming and available when we needed them at the beginning to point out a good place to eat nearby and explain the key points of the accommodation. I would not hesitate to stay there again either with my family or solo – and we will be recommending it to other friends and family who are travelling to London.

976750 – the house on the corner
With a generous bottle of Prosecco in the fridge when we arrived (thanks!!!) and plenty of room, we found the house to be ideal for our needs. Everything was comfy and well maintained. We explored a little of the local area, and ate at a place called Exeter Street Bakery – great local beer and amazing pizza. If you want to get onto the Tube there are stations very close by. All in all, a great find, and we’ll be coming back!

  Our stay in London was great and this home suited our needs perfectly as it was so convenient to get in and around London. We were greeted by our hosts who were friendly and flexibly with our check out time. The house was very clean and had all that we needed. I would happily recommend to friends. Thank you.

   

  Wow! Did not expect a place this nice. Really well done out, free wifi, excellent kitchen, comfy beds, milk in the fridge plus a fruit bowl, lovely hot shower. Just what was needed after a long journey, and a great base to explore the city. 10/10 would rent again.

   

   

   

  Chris met us on arrival making us very welcome. We loved the ‘House on the Corner’ – 5 minute walk from the tube station & also convenient to local shops. The house is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Chris was very helpful with anything we requested. It was a perfect base for us for the weekend and we would love to use it again in the future.

  We had a great stay here. The place was clean and exactly as in the photos. It was only a couple of minutes walk to Arsenal Tube station which meant it was easy to get around. Chris was welcoming and walked us through how everything work. He was also very generous in allowing us to leave our luggage for a few extra hours after checking out. The only issue was the wifi wan’t working on the last day. We would definitely stay here again.

  We had a wonderful stay in this well appointed townhouse. We were greeted by Chris on our arrival and settled in very comfortably knowing Chris & Nadya were nearby should we require any assistance. There were four of us staying in “the house on the corner”, it is very cosy and comfortable and freshly renovated. There is WiFi and a full list of TV channels to view. Every room was spotless, which is very high on our list of priorities. The complimentary bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch too . The area is nice, quiet and close to transport links around London. Chris was a great host, eager to help at all stages during our booking/stay. I would gladly stay here again and have no problem recommending it.
